Completely agree with everything averagepolitics has said. By the way have you noticed why we don't jhear much about anything in Iraq anymore, why our gas prices have dropped, and ect.? Probably because, hmm just a wild guess, the war is PRETTY much over. Troops are coming home and god bless the ones who risked and had their lives taken for us.

I am 14 from Tennessee. Just because your not older, doesn't mean your not educated and don't have COMMON SENSE *cough*

Just wanted to let you know, I'm from Arkansas and I would have fully supported Huck for President. He fixed problems started by the Clinton's reign, cut state spending in frivolous areas and the state's economy thrived.
This man is for the greater good not the quick fix and yes, he does believe in God and Creationism and he's not afraid to say it.
"If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything!"

Palin as president. How this doesn't scare the living crap out of somebody, I will never be able to fathom. I'd sooner vote for 4 more years of Bush.

My main problem with Obama, is he just doesn't seem ready. I'm sorry, while he does come off as a mastermind of the English tongue when compared to Bush or Palin, he's not particularly charismatic either. I'm not feeling the Obama fire... maybe a light simmer. Clinton had charisma, Obama only looks good when compared to the qwacks against whom he's running.

He is the lesser of two evils though. Well, not evils, idiots; the lesser of two idiots.

Elitist? He's not elite *enough.* I'm sorry, but as much as I love my best buddy and enjoy having a beer with him, I wouldn't want him or anyone like him to run the U.S!

A president is NOT supposed to be a "regular joe;" a president IS supposed to be the elite, the best of the best, a natural leader, someone with a clearer understanding of the way the world works than most people, somebody who can make a quick decision at a time when everyone else is running around like beheaded chickens. A president IS supposed to think he's better than most, because he IS supposed to be better than most.

Antenna,

Do you realize that the top 1% pays 37% of our taxes? Do you know that the top 10% pays 68% of our taxes? I love how you liberals talk a lot of shit, but can't say anything that adds up to truth...

I think it is funny that you think people that make less than $200,000 pay a LOT of taxes... Those people pay not much in taxes. And although I am part of that population, I anticipate being part of the upper portion of the tax bracket. I don't want to pay the way for all of losers that don't want to do shit but work for the man and complain about it. Do something original, start a company, and make your own way!

Thanks Antenna, for your comments, bring on some facts, and less bullshit!

If you make 250,000 dollars a year, and you pay 150,000 in payroll, your income is not 250,000. There's a difference between net and gross. BTW, Big corporations that ship American jobs overseas pay ZERO in taxes. On *paper* they *do* but in fact, they don't. When you're a multimillion dollar entity, you've got teams of lawyers steering you through the loopholes (loopholes Bush enlarged ten-fold, and McCain voted for.) His beer-heiress wife doesn't pay much in taxes either. They're part of the upper 1% who never do.If you make between 20,000 and 200,000, you pay a LOT of taxes. That $ goes to corporate welfare and companies like Halliburton, who charge the taxpayer $120 for a hammer, $29 for a nail, and $1,000,000,000 bonuses for execs who shuffle papers around. But any way you slice it, it's blood-money.
